Listing policy

Inclusion: operating hotels, guest houses, B&Bs, inns with rooms, boutique hotels and aparthotels (categories admin-configurable). Inclusion is free and never creates a debt.

Free, permanently: every listing is free and stays public, with name, location, facilities and contact details. Verified owners can opt in to a free 30 day Premium trial. Premium is a paid upgrade whose price is shown before purchase. Premium listings appear above standard listings in town, postcode and nearby searches, ordered by distance, and are always labelled Sponsored. When a trial or subscription ends, the listing returns to its free form. Listings are never hidden or removed for not paying.

How featured listings work: each town page has up to three Featured spaces. They are either paid sponsorships (labelled “Sponsored”) or editor selections (labelled “Featured · editor's selection”). They are not a ranking of quality. Empty spaces are shown as available — we never fill them with made-up places.

Verification badges: “Owner-verified” — the owner proved control. “Source-checked” — details matched a licensed source. “Unverified” — not yet confirmed.

Book now: links to the owner's booking page or official website. Any partner (affiliate) links would be clearly labelled.

Featured listings: each town page has up to three Featured spaces, shown separately from the A–Z list. Paid placements are always labelled “Sponsored”; editor selections are labelled as such. Featuring is never presented as a ranking or as the “best” places, and we never invent properties to fill empty spaces. Featured status does not change a listing’s position in A–Z or nearest-first results.
